Tabletop Christmas Trees

My friend Bob's apartment is pretty small. No way could he fit a full size tree there. But he has two wonderful tabletop Christmas trees there, and his kids and everyone else think it's pretty cool!

Both are artificial trees. One is a natural looking one, a 4 1/2 foot Country Christmas Tree with Pine Cones, that sits on the kitchen table. It takes very little space, doesn't drop needles or need watering, and definitely spreads Christmas cheer!  Mountain Spruces resemble the trees found  at the base of the Rockies. His second tree is a fairly old ceramic Christmas tree he has on his desk. It's only 18 inches tall and again takes almost no space. He got it at a yard sale many years ago.

If I were Bob I'd probably opt for something a bit bigger, maybe this awesome 6.5' x 37" Blue Spruce Instant Shape Tree.

I love Blue Spruce and they are particularly full trees and I like that. It's all American construction and trivial to put up, take down, and takes little room to store. Yes, I've been considering getting one for my parents, who are getting a bit old to deal with a natural tree every year.  An artificial is much easier to deal with in many ways, as you don't need to buy a new tree every year, load it into the car, lug it home, set it up, and then dispose of it after Christmas. Fun for kids, but it's not for everyone!

I've also got a tabletop Christmas tree in my office. My office is very small, one room, plus a shared conference room. Actually I've got it on the floor - most people use the term tabletop to refer to a smaller tree that can fit on a table, and mine was originally on a table, but honestly I've got more floor space than table or desk space. My kids love it when they visit the office, and it makes an impression on clients too.

It's a 4.5' Pre-Lit White Iridescent Artificial Christmas Tree. It doesn't look remotely natural but it does look very cool. I don't have it on very often in my office, but just about every visitor wants me to turn it on and I get and oohhs and aaahhs!  has 250 Multi LED Lights (purple, red, amber, green, blue, orange and even clear), a slim profile so it fits almost anywhere, and has 3 piece very easy assembly. It comes with a stand, and even replacement bulbs and fuses just in case. Of course if one light goes on all the others remain lit. Click Here to see it.

Another option is a fiber optic tree. Click here to see one. This one is only 32 inches high which means it fits essentially anywhere, comes with a stand, and changes colors continuously or a great effect! Not much to do other than set it up, which is trivial, and enjoy it. Looks great both with and without additional ornaments.

Space shouldn't stop you from having a Christmas tree as they come in all sizes. And neither should price as a decent artificial table top Christmas tree can last a lifetime. Could you consider one an investment in holiday cheer perhaps :)
